  • Molecular dynamics and discrete element simulations of heterogeneous materials (polycrystalline iron, iron alloys, aluminum and aluminum oxides, metallic foams and granular materials) to characterize the material properties under high pressure conditions (e.g. plastic deformation, compaction etc.)
  • Characterization of dislocation structures and plasticity with multiscale methods
